From Boulder to Los Angeles by way of Aspen...
After visiting my sister in Boulder we decided on our drive back to Los Angeles to stop in Aspen. We had no reservations and decided to stop by the Gant to check their availabiblity. They were so accomodating and the staff were the nicest and most genuine that I have ever encountered. We bonded with the bellboy who had just finished college and was working in Aspen until he figured out what he wanted to do. My husband had a similar experience and let him know that it took him 5 years after graduating that he wanted to go to Medical School. We enjoyed the close proximity to the shops and restaurants. My husband and 3 year old son also loved the pool and hot tub. Our room was one of the nicest in the complex and we felt very much at home in it. We will definately be coming back to The Gant in the future. My son still asks if we can go back to the hotel that had the apples.

Aspen Snowmass Jazz 2007
Aspen Snowmass Jazz was the best ever largely in part because I had the rare opportunity to stay at the Gant with both of my adult children. We had a BEAUTIFUL condo that easily could accommodate all of us. The weather was perfect and the setting was very Colorado!

Surprise Encounter With Young Deer, Ute Trail, Aspen, June 2008
With our two adult children living out of state, one in college in California and the other working in Boston, it's a rare occasion when our family of four can get-together in Colorado. We've chosen to stay at The Gant for several of our special reunions, and our experiences have always been wonderful. But one morning this past June, while my daughter and I were hiking up the Ute Trail (the trailhead is just behind The Gant and goes up Ajax Mountain), we were thrilled to encounter a young deer coming up the trail. I held my breath as I took several pictures. This picture is one of my favorites and captures one of those beautiful moments neither of us will ever forget.

delayed arrival
Ohhh that day, I remember the six hour drive which was supposed to be no more than half of that. We left our hometown of Pueblo, Colorado with smiles and tightly packed suitcases full of our warmest attire, only to arrive three hours later than planned to a warm, sunny Aspen. We soon learned that we took the scenic route and could have taken the pass to cut off the extra three hours. Although, amidst the feeling of somehow being let down on our lengthened trip to Aspen, all of our negative thoughts or saddened energies were immediately disposed of once we arrived at the ele-GANT Condominiums. We checked in to a clean cozy room and unwinded from a long, tiring drive as we enjoyed the comfort of our four bedroom palace. We spent our stay playing games and exploring the town, and needless to say, despite the minor setback on our way up, we had an extraordinarily exquisite experience...

Perfect Winter Escape
There are few things I enjoy more than a winter holiday in Aspen. Regardless of the time of year, Aspen is the perfect destination for the active traveler and the Gant is an ideal choice for lodging. My family always enjoys staying at the Gant. The location is great, the accomodations are extremely comfortable and my kids love the black-bottom swimming pool. We look forward to coming back often.

Late October....brrr? I think not!
I was packed and ready for the cold of Aspen in late October last year. I brought my warm boots, gloves, and sledding toys ready for snow before official ski season. What did we get? Temperatures in the uppper 60's. Evenings that were cool and absolutely beautiful -- allowing us to enjoy the hot tubs in the picturesque beauty of the Gant along with Aspen's colorful surroundings. I was looking forward to seeing snow and making tracks in the white covering and drinking hot cocoa in the evenings. Instead, we took walks through the little shops, spent time in the park watching my son do his thing in the bowls of the skate park, and ate ice cream cones from a little shop. We sat on the balcony of our comfortable condo people watching and slept with our windows open breathing in the purity of mountain air. It was a memorable trip and The Gant made the stay relaxing and enjoyable!

Wish I had invested in Aspen 21 years ago
After a great day of skiing,I rember sitting in the hot tubs at the Gant during our first few trips in the late 80's and early 90's. I would look up onto the mountain seeing a couple of new homes that had just been built. Staying at the Gant has always been great for me , my wife ,children, parents and brother and sister, and their children..Wish I would have invested in the hills of Aspen or in the Gant itself!. But , at least we are all rich with the 20 plus years of memories.

A magical Summer
My wife and I spent a couple of days at the Gant as part of our Bicycle Tour of Colorado 500 mile bike ride during the summer of 2007. What a welcome and wonderous respite it was to pull over and spend some time relaxing in our magnificent and cozy condo. We will be back.

Home away from Home...
We have been coming to The Gant for the last 5 years, and it is always a wonderful experience. The location is great and the staff are the most accomodating people we have ever encountered. They are always gracious and willing to help with our every need. The condominiums are well kept and maintained. If we have a problem it gets resolved immediately. We can always use the free bus service and that helps alot. We haven't ever been happier with a comdeminium hotel. We will always come to The Gant when we visit Aspen. Thank you SO much!

Magical Aspen Adventure
My sweetheart and I enjoyed a delightful trip to Aspen in 2006. It was our first major vacation together and the spectacular magic of Aspen and the rockies launched a wonderful relationship. My late husband and I vacationed there a couple of times and I was worried that returning would make me sad, but the lovely Gant and the entire Aspen area lifted my spirits and allowed me to enjoy its splendor with a new love.

Memorable Bachlorette
We spent a weekend at the Gant for my sister's bachlorette last September. We greatly enjoyed hanging out by the pools and the assistance of the staff in selecting restaurants and activities. It was also nice to have the shuttle service available to drop us off for dinner. We definitely plan to make it back up to Aspen and hope to stay with you again.

Loved the fireplace
My cousin and I spent a week skiing and our stay at The Gant made our trip all the more pleasant. I now live in Florida and miss the snow and fireplace I had at my lake house. Coming back from a day of skiing and sitting in front of the fire with a drink was wonderful. We will be back.

Susan G. Komen Ride for the Cure 2008
This September I was fortunate to participate in the 2008 Susan G. Komen Ride for the Cure, a 100 mile bike ride to support the fight against breast cancer. Several friends and I stayed at the Gant, my all time favorite Aspen retreat, and were able to ride our bikes to and from the start/finish line in town and walk to all of Aspen's great dining establishments. After the ride when we couldn't muster enough energy to venture out for dinner, we had a relaxing evening in our well appointed condo. It was a fantastic weekend, and I'm already looking forward to next year!

Getaway at the Gant
We chose to stay at the Gant for our first anniversary. After reading several hotel reviews in Colordao, I knew this was the place we would choose to commemorate the very best day of our lives. Our stay at the Gant was indeed fabulous. The service we received was very helpful and friendly. The room was more spacious then we had envisioned and everything was beautiful. In the evenings, we snuggled in front of the fireplace, and in the morning, we enjoyed the tree studded view out our windows. The Gant is just a few minutes walk from all the shoppes and we spent many romantic and special moments here. I will always remember our getaway at the Gant.

Fall retreat at the Gant
Every year, our family visits the Gant for a three day weekend to capture the beautiful Fall colors in Aspen. The Gant is a wonderful resort community and is a fantastic place for families. The condo units are luxurious and offer complete gourmet kitchens which we always use to prepare family meals. The outdoor grills are also nice options. The swimming pools and jacuzzis are treats for the entire family and the outdoor fireplaces are gantastic features. The Gant is close to all that Aspen has to offer--I can't imagine a better place to stay!

The Gant
We chose The Gant after we read on this site comments from prior guests. Our experience even exceeded our expectations. The staff went out of their way to make our visit perfect. Our condo was exceptional with every amenity (beautiful furnishings and decor, luxury linens, and top of the line kitchen appliances. Best of all, we had a beautiful view from all three decks; the grounds are lovely. Absolutely one of our favorite vacation spots ever.

Fall in Aspen
Just got back from a beautiful stay at The Gant! We've never been to Aspen before and thought we would make a trip out in the fall to see the leaves changing. We highly recommend not only The Gant but also taking a ride up the gondola. The view from the top was spectacular and the weather was picture perfect. The leaves had just started changing so there were hints of yellows and oranges popping up all around town. We'll definitely be back, maybe next time to ski!

Food & Wine Classic in Aspen
I have been attending the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen for the better part of the past 10 years and, I must tell you, that a large part of my enjoyment is due to -- not the food, not the wine, not with the scenery, which is beautiful enough to make an angel weep -- but solely The Gant. I love the accommodations but also love and am forever impressed with the professionalism and warmth of the entire staff. (See? You proved me right again!) Look forward to seeing you all next year (if not before!).

#1 Choice When Headed to Aspen
Thank you! Your attention to the service is what makes The Gant my #1 choice when headed to Aspen, which hopefully will be more often than it has been. From the first phone call to make the reservations to the last goodbye the service was great. It is SO nice to see people in the hospitality industry actually be hospitable!
